Tokujin never gives up his attitude to seek for what his mind detects. The work he introduced at the exhibition of Lexus, ‘a chair like bread’ is now completed, being ready for commercialization. Of course, in its process, he had to give some changes to the original one, which makes it less exciting a little. Yet, the completed one can be good enough to be commercialized. That’s what Tokujin can do.
He did a wonderful job for Lexus last year. The rumor says he insisted that he do the Toyota’s job, having seen the work of Kazuyo Imojima in the year before. (This is an unconfirmed information.) These days such young people as Tokujin, who have undaunted spirits until their assertions are heard and realized are getting fewer and fewer. Of course, the reason why he could do that is because of his great ability. Those who assert themselves by all means without actual ability are much more disgraceful.
